T5 bulb changes. When to replace?

How long do you go before changing your t5 bulbs?

For instance, do you run 10 hrs a day and change very 6 months.

Does replacing change with each brand or type of bulb ie ati bs geismann.

I was running mine for 12hrs and changing every 12 months.

I think as long as you stick with the name brands you are good to go a year. joe blows back alley refurbished bulbs probably need to be changed ones a month.

when i had t5s i used to change them around 8 months.. even if the bulb has more life I feel like its easier on the corals.. after a year some bulbs even the nice ones will be warn down and not 100% then you will be throwing 100% bulbs back on :/
I feel like this is a huge perk to led

I change mine every November, however, mine are overdriven, so some of them
do not survive that long.
