T5 bulb combination recommends

Hi All

im looking for some advice on which bulb set up i should go for when i restart my tank back up , it will be a mixed reef with some sps , lps and softy's

i want the lights to show off the coral and fish to there best,

i have a diy light set up that hold 6 t5 54 watt bulbs with reflectors,


the supplier im getting the bulbs from has the bulbs below for marine tanks

54W T5 Purple

54W T5 Blue Plus +

54W T5 White Marine 14000K

54W T5 Special Aqua Blue 50:50

54W T5 True Actinic (420nm)

Go on youtube and search for Tidal Gardens t5, there is a couple of videos of different combos on his channel.

I am currently using 3 Blue +, 1 Coral +, 1+ Purple and 1 actinic. Another combo I like is 4 blue+ 1 Coral + 1 Purple + which is a little more blue.

It looks like white marine should be similar to coral plus so you should be able to swap them for the same appearance.

I have a 6 bulb fixture with
2 - Blue Plus
2 - Aquablue Special
1 - Purple Plus
1 - Coral Plus

My favorite for best sps color without risk of bleaching anything:

-3x Blue+
-2x Actinic;
-1x Purple+

Beautiful pop, the purple gives a bit of daylight perception to the eye
