t5 bulbs just a thought

i wonder what would happen if you went with say 3 sunlight blubs and 1 actinic or 4 actinic/blue plus do you think that would be way too much light?

just remember, he is using 5 aquablues and 3 or is it 4 blue+.

that is a lot different than 3 days and 1 blue+. and even different than 4 blue+, which IMHO, would be too blue.

I think more of a 50/50 actinic+ and aquablue is a better look.

when people are first setting up the tank with T5s, I tell them to get an even mixture of each type of bulb. a couple actinics, a couple 6500Ks, a couple 11,000K aquablues, a couple blue+ bulbs. That way, you can mix and match which ones are on at any given time and get an idea of what looks good to you, and how the bulbs compliment each other.
