Wondering if anybody has made their own legs for the SLS Tek T5 lights... 60 - 80 dollars for a couple small pieces of bent metal is alot IMO. I really don't feel like hanging it from my ceiling as it would be an eyesore.
When I ordered my Tek lights from Drs. Foster and Smith they told me I could just set the fixture on top of my tank. Won't that melt the plastic center brace and cause the reflectors to get dirty extremely fast? I have a glass top sitting in the garage but I don't feel like using it unless I have to.
