well...you could go t-5s....but everyone on here will definetly recommend metal halide

oops i forgot to mention maintenance from your tank and then your electricity bill is going to go crazy???did you set up your tank yet?

I hear a lot of good things about T-5. If you are choosing between T-5 and PCs go for T-5's.

yep i have sand and three rocks. its been up for about 2 weeks now. i might throw in a damsel the next few days. i have a freshwater light for now but im going to buy a new light next week

well it sounds like you are following my foot steps... my mom gave up her 29g and i took over...well just wait for it to cycle you will probably have 14-24 days more to go...always check your levels... and dont rush into things

Let me offer this as advice, don't cycle with a damsel. They are mean little buggers and if it survives the cycle you probably won't be able to get it out. It will then attack any other fish you put in.

OMG talking about my damsels.....it did survive through the cycle...when i tried to get it out...OMG took me like 2 hours...had to take down my rock set up and then have a friend help me to distract him...it was a disaster...i even clipped one of my cleaner shrimps antenna off...so like you said you have only few rocks its best to give him away or bring it back to the LFS

You could drop a cocktail shrimp or something in the tank to get the cycle started. Then, don't add anything until the cycle is complete. After the cycle has completed you can add your cleaner crew (snails, hermits, ect...). Add your fish and corals last, after all your params are stable.
