T5 ?

our tank a 55g was originally going to be a fowlr after taking our nano down, well a few frags made it over and the LR had a lot of zoa hitch hikers on it, it is currently lit by a 2x28w T5 N.O. with a few zoas, lps and softies all doing great.

My ? is we are adding a 2x54 T5 HO in the next week or so also to the current lighting, how should we acclimate to the added 108w ? start with like 1 hr a day for a week and add an hour each week?

I know MH lighting and acclimation but am new to T5

I would think it would be the same as acclimating to MH. If you can start with the lights higher and slowly lower them over a few weeks. Or you could do it as you suggested or you can use some screening. Good luck, I just hooked up my t-5 for the first time and are very happy.
