Tahitian Clams

Has anyone had luck recently with these? I was checking out clam mania and they have some beautiful ones. However whenever I google tahitian clams I see a lot of posts from 2011/12 where it appears people didn't have much luck with them.

I'm just curious if things have changed with them.

I doubt anything has changed with their poor survival rate. My LFS got some of these in the other day and I warned them of the problems. Apparently a wholesaler has brought these back into the hobby.

Most of the main on line retailers have stopped selling them. Pacific East Aq. was a big seller at one time and now he only sells the cultured clams. Pretty much the same with Live Aquaria.
