Tail Spot Blenny*black spot on bottom

Yesterday I funny found Tail Spot Blenny, the shop told me it is a young fish. When we got to see it closely in shop I guess was really scared it was gray whit a marble colors along the body

Today in my tank it has is colored not ad bright as picture over Internet but definitely not dark

The only 2 things I'm not sure of are:

On the bottom of the body, I guess where the anus is, it has a little black spot. I thing is normal but not sure.

In shop told me that it does not has the black dot near the end of tail because it is too young. Is that correct?

I gave some garlic pellet and flake food and water both.
Is not shy, is swimming and exploring tank.
It seem in good shape.

The black spot on the ventral (bottom) side is normal. However, the fish in the picture looks like a Yellow Eye Combtooth Blenny (Ecsenius ops), not a Tailspot Blenny (Ecsenius stigmatura). The lack of the spot on the tail, and the lighter ventral color are key identifiers.

i guess you are correct
his body, as showed in picture, has light ventral color
is very friendly and it seems very hungry it always pick on rocks, I'm not sure if he can see something that i can't or it just want to taste he rock

i'm not very happy that sold me a fish that is not really what i ask for, but I really like it
