hope this question doenst come off as dumb so here it goes lol...a few months back i was starting my tank over and i filled my tank with a hose from outside my window, however i didnt realize the water was aweful w tons of rust, so i drained the water then tried again with the tank, this time i got all new sand and all my water is RODI water, the rocks that i had in the tank were stained with rust and its alot of rock and dont want to throw them away whats the best way to clean them, or should i discard them all together?, i soked them in bleech w water now for a few days and the rust color is still on the rocks, what should i do?

The rust will look ugly till the algae comes and I don't know if it will be harmful or not. If you're really out to get rid of it pressure wash em (this may break off some pieces if you're not careful ). The car wash ought to have enough pressure to take care of things but be sure to run the the rinse setting for at least 10 or 15 seconds in the rinse mode to clear out any soap in the lines.

well since the rust from the water settled on top of the rocks i can put them upside down i just wanna know if the stained rust that i cant get off with bleach will harm anything in my tank, i dont have anything in there right now im letting the tank cycle right now but i am planning on adding about 20 pounds of LR and i wanna seed the rest of the rocks that i have so if anyone else has any advice plz feel free to help me out...thanks
