Tamarin Wrasse Primer.

Sorry, I really should have mentioned that I had seen that particular picture, though i find is doesn't give a true indication of what the male looks like. thats why i was after a photo, if anyone had one.

I was kinda wondering because take the Anampses femininus for instance, the randalls holotype shows the male as being a really ugly fish, whereas the actual male is an incredible fish. So I was hoping it would be similar for the lennardi's

I'm picking up a female lennardi's tomorrow, but the lfs has two in the same tank that are getting on really well, so I was thinking about getting both and hoping one turns male.

Hey Joerie, I hope you get your Chryso's soon, I keep my eyes open for you if you want. I love chryso's sooo much. Especially the females. if I can find another female(s) i think i buy them to. The Femininus is a wonderfull fish because of the colours but the chryso is soooo pretty in his simplicity. Makes it one of the top 3 wrasses imo.

All 3 are eating for sure....that was after more then a half hour of feeding:eek2: didn't want to scare them while feeding with the camera...
Are they eating yet? Because I see they didn't show any interest in the food, and too bad for the injured one...

hummm...this crosses both Tamarins & Leopards....

My wrasse make up just recently reset.......

unfortunately, my 6 inch 7-10 year old Halichoeres claudia or cosmetus (Christmas Wrasse) passed which was an aggressor to some extent....

So now in the wrasse world I only have:

1. Anampses melanurus

2. Male MM Leopard

I want to introduce another Anampses

First choice:
Anampses meleagrides

Second
Anampses chrysocephalus

Third
Anampses melanurus

and another Leopard:

First Choice:
Kuiteri Leopard

Second Choice:
Female MM Leopard

I had 4 leopards at once a few years back, however, with the aggressiveness of the Christmas Wrasse & Male Leopard, I had to relocate.....and 2 died........

Please opine!
