I've got a powder brown tang. I fed him Reef Nutrition Angel Formula the other day and he went bezerk swimming around and also tried to rub himself against the rocks - doesn't actually make contact as far as I can tell. He does eat this quite readily. This evening I fed Reef Nutrition Prime Reef Flakes. He again went bezerk and starting trying to rub himself. He then went to his hiding place and I can see him thrusting his head from side to side and tail too.
I have not seen him exhibit such behavior except when eating free floating stuff.
My guess is something is getting caught in his gills. Anybody have a different guess or experience with this behavior?
I've got a cleaner shrimp who begs to clean him but he won't give it the opportunity.
Thanks
