Tang compatibility question

So, I was on a LFS tour in Tampa and saw a mimic tang which is one of the tangs I wanted for my new set up. I have a powder brown in QT right now so I only planned on having two tangs in my tank. I couldn't remember if a mimic was acanthurus genus or not so I asked the guy at the fish store if they would get along and he said yes as long as they are introduced at the same time so I ended up getting the mimic. He's in QT as well and I've realized I have two acanthurus species which can be slightly aggressive. I was wondering if it's a possibility to have these two fish in my 120 or if I should trade the mimic in for a bristletooth. I really want it to work for both of these tangs but I don't want them to be stressed either since both fish are looking great and eating well with no outward signs of disease. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I think you should be okay, as long as they are introduced at the same time so neither one has a territory. Although in a 4ft tank I don't know if you should risk it. Get a bristletooth tank of some sort like a kole or tomini tang. It would be better, and nothing in this hobby is set in stone.

Yeah, the tank is a has a great footprint but is 4 ft long so not sure how they will do. The one thing is, is that the mimic is in a 55 right now and doing great and is happy. The PB may need more room later on. I think I'm going to try them at the same time and if someone gets too harassed, I can take one out.
