Tang experts - is this normal?

I've had this two-spot bristletooth tang in QT for 9 days. Can you watch the video and tell me if his swimming is normal? Seems to jerk back and forth alot.. He's eating very well though. No visible ich or anything and not flashing. I've only done Prazipro so far and I'm planning to start Cupramine soon.

Watch for at least 10 seconds - the swimming becomes more erratic.

Looks like he is just nervous that you are in front of the tank. He doesnt look to bad to me, looks pretty healthy. As long as he keeps eating he should be fine and he should settle down sometime soon. Also try feeding him some nori, if you havent done that already. Overall i think you have nothing to worry about. Best of luck.

I think he is battling his reflection. He sees it best where the white pipes are reflected.

Thanks everyone. I realized he seems to do that more when I first get home from work and seems more relaxed as the night goes on. So I guess he's just stimulated by seeing people. He does look really healthy otherwise. I have tried feeding nori and he hasn't touched it when I've tried it on the clip a few times. Finally last night I got him to eat some really tiny pieces of nori that I had soaked in selcon. He also eats formula 2 pellets now.

What ARE YOU

What ARE YOU

That's a fine looking fish, bright and alert. Respiration looks normal and good body condition. He IS WATCHING YOU WATCH HIM. REEF fish have very acute eye sight and all day long he watches the room in front of him. When you the large unusual creature that feeds him [ quite puzzling ] ENTERS THE ROOM HE IS CURIOUS AND cautious .He should do just fine .As for medications I always treat with copperpower for 3 weeks. at 82F . the whole point of qt is to condition the fish are to rid any external parasites that may be embedded. It will other wise drop the parasites at a later date in the dt and you will have a lot of regrets, see my slogan at the bottom of this response. That's how i DO IT You may feel different.
