Sorry dude, your wrong. In retrospect, it may not be a nigrofuscus, but it is defintiely an Acanthurus. The mouth structure is a dead giveaway. Acanthurus tangs like this (nigrofuscus, maculiceps, tennettis, etc) are frequently mistaken for bristletooths, but they are not.

Maybe it's my monitor, but I too am seeing the mouth of a Ctenochaetus. Can we get another picture, with a better shot of the mouth?

I have never seen a Ctenochaetus close their mouth THAT closed ever. They always ahve the teeltale "V" sahpe lower lip that hangs open. Maybe its a trick photo, but I woudl be utterly surprised if this was a Ctenochaetus sp.

It's just really hard to see in that pic. The whole mouth area is kind of overexposed, the pic could have been taken in that split second when his mouth was closed tight, etc, etc. I'm gonna wait for another pic for a decision....

For what it's worth I would say Ctenochaetus striatus. However, I do agree that the fishes mouth appears closed which can't happen if my id is correct. More pics please!
