Tang ID

if most fish sights werent blocked i could name it for you, i recognize that blue fringe on the fines, i want to say leuitenant tang but i cant get any pics up. im probably wrong but its worth a shot, no one has mentioned it.
 
I have the same fish and it looks just like yours....The colors will come out more once it's in a bigger home....What fish did you order that they sent you this one?
 
Acanthurus Leucocheilus is correct ,(IMO) i have the same fish and he is a awesome addition to my tank , he is the most active out of all my tangs. great fish. i am waiting patiently for him to color up.

Thanks! Mine was on the skinny side when I got him; he was at the LFS for a few months or so before I purchased him. They are great eaters once they are settled in.

I love this tang! I have had him for over a 1 1/2 yrs. He was no more that 3 inches when I got him. Now 7. Only tang I have, he's rules my 120.

The tenniti tang was the original tang I ordered but receieved the Acanthurus Leucocheilus instead. Both are beautiful tangs.
