My friend got this tang yesterday and his danish friends can't ID it, so I offered to "do it" for him. Because I know you guys are experts.

Atlantic blue tang juvenile.

It sure looks like an Atlantic Blue Tang. They start off as yellow. Their body turns blue and the tail is yellow. Later, they turn solid blue. As they age, they tend to get a brown cast.

can you get a better pic?
I am not sure it is a blue tang...
the yellow on the edge of the fin and the dark scalpel aren't right...
need to hear from the tang people...

Looks ALOT like my lavender tang. Actually pretty identicle. Heres a pic from google as i dont have one of mine on my phone but will post mine later tonight.

Yea, except the one in question has a yellow tail and blue top fine. Just opposite of this one.

Even though it doesn't quite remind me of an atlantic blue tang, that would be my best guess. It lacks the two spots at the base of the dorsal/anal fins found on lavender tangs.
