If it is indeed "Ctenochaetus nigrofuscus" (lavender tang)... then its colors are amazing. Every lavender pic I see is all washed out and little/no yellow like this pic.

gets like 16" and pretty aggressive but hardy

Here is a pic of mine a few weeks back. He is about 6.5 inches and a sissy as tangs are concerned. Awsome fish and hard worker.

With time and a better diet mine is now starting to appear more like Mikes tang shown above.
