Oh,and for the record,It is my God given right to keep a fish in whatever kind of vessel i choose.

just go bother someone else will you.... there is no point to this thread.

If you're putting a Vlamingi in a 10g, and you feel good about it...it's time to get out of the sun and leave the hobby. Lock yourself in your closet and see how long you last.

tahts sad, its a living animal, only has one life, and you are cramping it in a 10 gal. and then to a 75 gal? this really is sad. tangs need long distances to swim. what size is the fish anyways?

In all the years I have been reading on these forums, this has to be the most idiotic statement I have read yet. God did'nt put animals on this earth so you could abuse them. If it's true that you have a Vlamingi in a 10 gal tank{which I doubt} he will be dead soon. Do the fish a huge favor and find him a proper home with an appropriate sized tank. This tang is one of the largest available... a 125 would still be too small.

 davejnz's credibility.........

just out of interest looking through your gallery you seem to be a serious reefer, why all of a suddern do you decide to make a FOOL of yourself?

Would a Vlamingi Tang do well in my 10gal nano?

This is obviously a joke. No one whose interest is marine biology would seriously ask a question like this. :eek1:

well its your fish, do what you want with it. All I'm saying is IMO that tank is to small

Well, since you want to throw out insults,i could easily respond with one.But since you've already showed your intelligence level by commenting/believing on such a ridiculous thread,I wont go there.
Seems most of the people that have responded realise that this thread is/was meant for a joke.

This is a first for reef central people on this forum are all amazingly kin di love them all...but this is crazy talk...and even with some 1200 posts ...i mean you mind as well stick a eel in there for a few years...Poeple on here can only be so nice and try and help someone, and show them the doors they should open but they cant make you go through them ...Good Luck with the tang but would you like me sticking you maybe some 6 foot tall in a 1x1x1 room and letting you grow...and watching you suffer ...NO!

No,the reason i started this thread was to see who/why people are so worried about tangs in small tanks. If you are truly concerned about the well being of captive fish like Tangs, then why don't you go join some animal rights activist group.
