Tang injuries, will they heal?

While trying to catch a tang (due to fighting), I think I scraped his side a little. I didn't notice it at the time, but today his side has what looks like a scrape. Its not deep, the flesh looks ok, just a surface wound.

Will this heal? Is there anything I need to do for him? His is acting fine and eating normally.

Also, he tore up the fins on a another tang, will the fins heal?

Did you do it? My money would be on the other Tang.

If your water quality is good, and you are feeding them well, I bet you will see improvement in a few days.

Are the Tangs in separate tanks now?

What are you feeding, and how much? Make sure they're getting lots of vegetation, including sheets of seaweed.

Are you using supplements? If not, now would be a good time to start.

I think I did it when I went after him with the net, I know that I trapped him in the corner, I just didnt see the damage at first.

The water is good, they get fed plenty, including seaweed. I pulled the new fish and re-introduced the him with the lights off. There was a little fighting this morning, but they are getting along now.

I have had problems with this tang before but most of the time he calms down pretty quick, it was just worse than I had ever seen last night, thats why I tried to catch him.
