Tang photos with Nikon D40x and Photoshop borders

After two months with my Nikon D40x and the 18-70mm zoom I am starting to get great results.

Now with Adobe Photoshop its even better.

These are ISO 800, shutter priority 1/125 seg, no flash, no tripod.

nice shots. what type of lighting do you have on that tank

My lights are 2 - 175 watts MH Coralvue Reeflux 10K and two VHO 72" Universal Lightning URI 160 watts each, one super actinic and one actinic white.

The Reeflux are extremely bright with a very nice white color. They are excellent for photography. I used to have two Coralvue 12,000K MH that were not that intense.

The combination of the MH with the VHO makes the correct combination for growth of the corals and the look of the colors.
