Hi folks

I'm about to add a pair of clowns to my nano which has been running now for 7-8 wks wiht LR, inverts, hermits, turbos and a cleaner. All the chemistry is pretty stable so I'm happy to go ahead. Can someone explain what is meant by a 'tangerine' clown? My local aquatics centre has them for sale - are these Ocellaris, Percula or some other type of clown?

Cheers
Shane

who knows, people use all kinds of the same common names for different animals. Need to see the fish to ID it properly.

I wonder if it is the same as the naked clowns which is all orange. they probally named them Tangarine because it sounds better than naked and well you know them fancy names fetch more money LOL.

No, these are white striped just like Percula and Ocellaris - I suspect they are one or the other but they can't tell me which. They just sell them as tank reared tangerine clowns but they are certainly one or tother. I just wondered whether tangerine was used as a pseudonym for one of them.
