Tangs acting weird

For the past couple of days my two tangs have been extremely skittish. Normally all of the fish in my tank will come and greet me, especially when I have a shot glass filled with food or when the turkey baster is put in the water. Now, the blonde and yellow retreat to their hiding spots whenever I walk by the tank. No real changes lately, although I did rearrange some frags and added 2- no aquascape movement. I might not be the prettiest guy, but this has definitely stumped me. Any ideas or suggestions? I've been trying to leave them alone, looking from a distance. They are still eating well, once I walk away from the tank.

It very well could be from when u added the new frags.. did the shy nature start later that day or the next? Any other member of the household been messing with the display?

No one else is here to mess with the DT. It has been since I added the 2 frags. I added the fargs at 7pm (right about when my whites go out). I can't recall if it happened right at that point, but I'm sure they hid as I had my hands in the tank. By feeding time the next morning it was as if they had seem a ghost, namely me.

And just to throw it out there, there is almost no aggression in my tank. No one picks on anyone else. They'll come out, wander around and forage for a bit and then, out of nowhere they will get spooked at jet to their rocks. A couple of seconds will go by and they're out again. Only to happen again, and again. All the while I am laying on my couch, not even moving or causing any vibrations.

Fish look fine? You said they're eating. ..I bet they just got frightened and the PTSD subsides. ;)

Fish look fine, corals look fine. Everyone is eating well. For a while I thought one was intimidating the other. that is until I couldn't figure out who was being dominant. Turns out neither are. One moves quick, the other freaks out. Doesn't matter who started it- sometimes it's the yellow, sometimes it's the blonde. I figure I will just let them be, keep my hands out, let them re-settle.
Thanks for the encouragement Justin.

I think I'm the monster. Don't know how, but I must have spooked them pretty good. So I've been staying away, hoping that they will get more comfortable, again. The YT has been in there for 4 months, the blonde for 2. They were always out, almost eating from my hand. Parameters are stable, no new fish additions, no one picks on them, so I'm not really sure what's going on. Gonna try testing for stray voltage today, but that doesn't seem right since everything else seems uneffected.

It took some time, but it appears that the tangs have reclaimed their dominance of the reef. Out and about, first one's up front when it's feeding time.

Even the addition of a few frags may thorw them off . Shadows changing can make it worse. Some of my fish get shy when thing get shifted around even slightly. Some attack new placements.
