Tangs for beginner?

Honestly, I wouldn't keep ANY tang in a 75 gallon. I used to have a juvenile yellow tang and even though he was small he still seemed cramped.

ok cool i asked a guy at a fish store if it would be alright and he was saying it would

Personally I wouldn't take a fish stores word on it without researching it first.. Some are good about it but some people don't know what they are talking about or will sell u anything.

For reference on LFS guys, one of the guys at mine(granted the rest are all reasonable) tried to sell me a Picasso Trigger for my 10G, he said it'd be fine for a couple years.

Some of them see it as I'd you buy a small fish and it gets big, you're likely to bring it back and they give you 50% store credit for it. Its a win-win for the store. All that said, IMO I personally would rather have a group of small, active fish like anthias or a wrasse of some sort.

Please don't put a hippo tang in a 75. I have a tank 2x as big as yours and my hippo looks huge in there, albeit she is 7 years old.
