Most of the bristletooth (Ctenochaetus) tangs should work. The Kole tang should be fine and I would think that a Cheveron would also be fine. Also the blue eyed tang is a nice looker.
point taken, not for algae control as the tank is not yet running just getting opinions for the time beingMost tangs need swim room, and some may even develop digestive problems if that is not accomidated.
Most don't recommend a tang in less than a 5' stretch, 4' is really tight, and 1' high, that's a shallow tank, I'm not sure I'd even put a tominni in there.
If it's for algae control, a lawnmower blenny may be a better call.
