Hi,

my tangs look really healthy, have no sign of ich, eat with pleasure and are always asking for more and have beautiful vibrant colors. As a matter of fact, in a month they all doubled their size :)

However, they all look like they have some sort of bubbles underneath their skins. Kind of a muscular looking body :D What is it? Is it normal?

I just wonder if I should worry.

Could it be them "eating" air bubbles floating around the tank due to powerheads's excessive flow?

Thanks :)

My hippo gets those occasionally too...not sure what they are but he is also healthy as a horse. Seems to go away within a day or two. Also had another one previously that got them and was healthy...I'm curious to see what other people have to say...

some days they have it, some other days they don't. it's weird. could it be related to stress? my fish are relatively new to my tank (1 month), and sometimes they're still doubting about what goes on and hide (hand in tank for feeding, etc.).

"stomach bubbles" - any cure for that?

thanks :)

Maybe to much protein in it's diet? Probably just gotta drop a duece. Seeing those guts work. Don't feed the tank for a few days and see what happens.
