Tank at Blue Mountain Middle School in Orwigsburg

Hi, just wanted to let everyone know that CarlC and I are going to be working with a group of students at the Blue Mountain Middle School in Orwigsburg to help them with a tank they just set up. It's a fish only with crushed coral. We're going to meeting with them shortly and we are getting paperwork from Scott. We're going to work towards educating them about a live rock set up. We'll keep the club posted.

This is great, I've sent you email with paperwork. Basically we ask for a semi-formal proposal, a letter from the school (so we know that they know etc.), and eventually a letter requesting reimbursement. The main thing (and what's fun for you!) is planning the tank. Good luck!

Glad to see the progress NCPARS memebers are making towards the educational mission. I will be very happy to donate corals towards this, and the other efforts in the works (Brad, Dyan).

I have been in touch with the teacher who is responsible for their tank. I am going to be talking to the students that are doing the maintenance and logging of parameters. The tentative date is 2/22.

Well I am going to be tearing down my frag tank and everything in the basement after/right before the swap so if you need live rock let me know. I would be glad to see it go to somewhere it will be used.

I have to downsize alot since there are a lot of things I wish to do this summer and tending to more than one tank isn't one of them.
