Tank Break Down :(

Well I never thought the day would come that I would have to break down my tank. Unfortunately, I have to due to no time to keep up with it.

This has been up and running since Oct. 2009 and I haven't added any new live stock to it for over a year now believe it or not. The tank is a 50 gallon breeder with a little bit of everything. I am going to start off by getting rid of the corals first and go from there.

The sps corals that I can remember the names for are: green slimer, blue milli, ora birdsnest (a large and small colony), ora red planet (small frag), pink lemonade (1 around 3" and the other around 2"), yellow tort (has turned more green for me but I blame my lack of attention for it) and a bunch of other ones that I cannot remember.

My prices are not set in stone and range from $5 to $40. I will discount for multiple purchases and will entertain reasonable offers. Now for some pictures:

I would in intertested in LPS and soft corals (exceprt GSP) if you have any. If you are going to be looking for a home for fish also I would be interested in the Midas Blenny in the first picture. Also cleanup crew and inverts.

Yinzer - I do not have any "named" zoas, just some red ones, yellow ones and some that have like a gold flake in them. I have a few rocks covered in gsp and you can have the first pick on them.

bkhunt - I have a few different types of rics, a galaxy coral, mushrooms and a bunch of the ora white pom pom xenia. Not sure if you would be interested in any of those so just let me know. Also, I will be looking for homes for the fish. I just do not know how to catch them with everything in there.

The fish that I have are a midas blenny (spoken for by Brian), a pj cardinal (have had since I started the tank), 3 maldives anthias (2 females and one that is changing into a male), a pair of helfrichi firefish and a clownfish that is hosting in a rock covered in athellia (spelling?). I will not split up the clownfish and her host coral though.

I have some powerheads that I can get rid of now too.

I have a used mp10wes that I bought used and never had the chance to use. Asking $225. I will have another one for sale once everything is sold from the tank.

I have an older mp40w with a spare wet side that needs a new power supply that I would like to get $235 for. You can get a new power supply for $50.

I also have 2 koralia evo 750s that I would like to get $30 a piece for.

I'll add more things and I think of them.

What is the large blue mushroom - first pic lower left side? Interested if it will do well under just 2 X 24" T5's.

Acer - Sorry for the bad picture but they are actually purple mushrooms. I am not sure if there is a fancy name for them, they just hitch hiked in on a rock that I got.

There are still a lot of corals left, mostly sps but there are other things too. I would like to thin out more corals before I start trying to catch the fish. The anthias, midas and possibly the fire fish are spoken for as of right now. That leaves the clownfish with her host coral and the pj cardinal that will still need new homes.

Some of the named sps corals that I still have left are: roughly a 3" pink lemonade, ora red planet, seasons greating monti, ora green birdnest (smaller one), blue milli, and green slimer. There is still 3 different caps, the large blue and orange coral shown in a picture above, and some others.

I am free thursday and friday after 5ish and should be pretty flexible over the weekend. I would like to get the livestock sold off within the next week or 2 if possible.

I still have a lot left. I am goin on vacation Aug 3rd and would like to have all of the live stock gone by then if possible

just let me know when you are able to catch the blenny and we can make arrangements. Please let me know about the RO unit also.

I think I figured out why I had a algae problem and why even my low light corals faded= bad t5 bulb. Anyhow- SecGenGSX, do you still have the purple mushrooms or any other cheap lower light corals? I would like to try some corals again, now that I have good bulbs. Let me know.

I have never heard back from you about picking up fish. I am free tonight to come pickup blenny. Please sent me a PM or post here and let me know. I know you wanted to have picked up by today.

Sorry guys but things have been pretty hectic lately. I am currently in Florida and will not be back until Saturday. I still have some things left so I will pm everyone who has shown interest when I get back.
