Tank break down

So I am going to take a short hiatus from the hobby.....I hope it will still be here when I come back. I want to do it right this time and not just slap stuff onto a glass box.

I am going to build my own tank, it will be 24x24x20 rimless and I want to be able to do it slowly and not have to worry about another tank to take care of. So I am sad to part with it.

Heres the link

I'm sorry to hear about your leaving the hobby, but your plan is a very good one. I think all of us on here have wanted to do things differently after having our tanks set up for a while. There's so much that you learn after getting started, and so many things that you wish you would've done differently. That tank sounds like it will be a nice one, and i hope you return soon!

I can't blame you. There's been quite a few times that i just wanted to empty my tank and start over, but i'm sure my wife would kill me if i ever did that! Good luck on the new build, and keep us posted on the progress. Also post any questions if you run into something you need help with. I'm sure one or some of us would be able to give you a hand if you need it

We were trying to get a local club started in the Corning Elmira area. We'll keep you in mind when things get started if you are interested in meeting other locals.
