So, an update.........
Amazingly, the ammonia is down to between 0-.25ppm. I did the last water change on Monday, which was about the total volume of the tank/sump (total water change over several days), and decided to go ahead and let the tank cycle. The ammonia held at about .75 for 2 days, and now it is on it's way down, thankfully. The last thing to die was my toadstool leather. I also lost the Devil's Hand Leather-they did not tolerate the crash well at all. What I have left are most or at least parts of the zoo colonies, large emerald palys, frogspawn (did really well, acts like nothing happened almost), ricordia (also very hardy) and small sections of my sps. My lobophilia has some small sections that are still intact, so it'll be interesting to see what becomes of it. It appears that I have an outbreak of several "bad" things: cyano, maybe bryopsis, hair algae, to name a few
That was to be expected though. I'm sure it'll be slooooooow going from here.......... it will take months and months for things to get to the size and health they were at previously
