I was just hoping for some advice. My tank previously had ick and I lost 2 fish to it. I have a few fish in there right now that are ick free and I want to add 2 captive breed clowns that are very healthy..I feed garlic and vitamins everyday and water is kept pristine...I know that the ick still exists in my tank and always will...am I taking a major chance putting the clowns in there or do you think I would be okay...

Any advice greatly appreciated..

yes you are taking a major chance. the new clowns will have stress when you put them in, that may open up the hole for the ich. once they get the ich and your tank will..........u know
you should fallow your tank for 6 weeks (that's what i am doing)
and treat your fish in QT
i think to wait for 6 weeks is a little price to pay, otherwise you'll lose all the fish. trust me, ich will kill all your fish soon or later

Thanks for the welcome...I think your right about doing the fallow thing...I was thinking about it all last night and going to set up a separate tank for the other fish and just leave the inverts in the DT... Thanks for clarifying and your right small price to pay.
