Tank mates: BTA meets Moorish idol...

Not sure what you mean by BTA and Moorish Idol. They don't have anything to do with each other.

On another note, Moorish Idols are not recommended for the home aquarium. They require a huge tank (which you have) but a very specialized diet. They are very difficult to maintain in the aquarium. If you already have one or two and they are doing great then you are very lucky.

I am pretty sure he's asking if the Moorish Idol would hurt the BTA and vice versa. I have no idea but I am curious also.

Yay a question I can sorta answer, lol. For now, my moorish idol leaves my BTA's alone. I have him housed in a 203g with sps/lps/nems/softies. He doesn't pick at anything yet (although i accept that he probably will) He is healthy and while has not been kept long term by me yet, he eats fine. There is sponge growth in the tank as well if he is really hungry he can eat it. He feeds off of pellets 3 times a day as well as formula 2 frozen, and my own food mixture that i feed the tank. He leaves the nems alone for now.
