tank questions

The reason for this thread being here is b/c my anemone is slowly dying due to poor conditions. That being said.

Ok, So my first 55 gallon tank has taken a complete dive while trying to figure out what medicines to dose in it.

I will be buying a Marineland Perfecto 200 gallon RR model, the 48" by 36". I will be building a sump/refugium in the stand. I have never done this configuration. I have only had a can filter. My question is, What do you guys do to keep your tanks clean as a whistle. I scrape my tank clean in the morning each day just for it to come back by the next day. I swear there is something else in my water we dont test for.

You advise for dosing media would be great as well as configurations for the sump/refugium combo.

Is there anything I can dose with to fix:

Nitrates?

Ammonia?

Water changes dont see to be helping.

Describe a comlplete dive.
What are your water parameters .... give numbers.
How old is the tank?
Where did you get your rock?
What is the lighting?
What type of anemone?

Answer the above questions and you should get some answers.

A complete dive is a green algae bloom all over the place due to an obstruction in the inlet of my canister filter.

I dont have the number on the parameters as I have lost the cards and booklet to my testing equipment but i can assure that it isnt good.

The rock is Cultured Fiji (crap)

I have (had) two btas and a condy (no chemical warfare thus far). Both have done fine.
