Okay, I know this isn't the construction "how to" forum, but I have a preference question. We are in the process of building our tank room. Currently, it will be the corner of a large room that has hardwood flooring (which we just laid before deciding to get back into the hobby :eek1: . Our house is on a conventional foundation, not a slab. Here is my question...I am curious what you would do...
1. Rip up the hardwood in the area where the tank room will be and replace with ceramic tile
2. Keep the hardwood and lay something over the top of it
3. Do nothing and leave it the way it is.
