Tank show and tell

thanks slugs,

the left side is made of 3 main rocks that i got to lock together, and then secured w/ zip ties. The right side also consists of a larger rock as the base and several smaller ones held together with zip ties. I just added the top one and havent disguised the ziptie yet.

nova,
the 30 has alot of potential ... i see your from redding, i have family there and actually was up there for a semester of school a couple years back. Maybe we can meet up when im in the area. Dont know if you know of the little reef shop behind the Walgreens. I think its off of Churncreek. He has some awesome stuff.

ya thats karls place aquariums plus.i work at another shop down town on tehama st called The Deep. i really like how you did your rockwork. i just might have to do something like that in mine.

I had a tank disaster last month after coming back from a 3 weeks vacation. The brace of my old acrylic tank has come off, causing the back of the tank to bow and leaked. Since then, I've bought a new tank and set it up. Here are some pics to share with you all:

peter, tank looks great! hey man, i apologize if you got the nudis from me. i would never intentionally pass any pests along...

Thanks, guys. Sometimes, when such event happens, you really have the feeling of calling it quit. I'm glad I didn't throw in the towel during that time and left the hobby.

Tim, not really sure where those nudis came from. The nudis typically reduced the true undata I got from you into a dime size.

For now, all my montis are doing great and recovering. The sps are recovering their colors too after being kept in a rubbermaid container for a week.

Some great tanks in this thread. I'm a fan of the peninsula style aquariums personally ;)

That dang red macro algae is taking over, so sometime soon, I'll go through the whole tank and pick it off and do a little re-aquascaping. I'll repost some pictures after, cause it's kinda hard to get a sense of how the tank is set up by the pics above.

Keep the pics coming...

PS. Unarce, your tank is killer!
