Tank size for Carpet Anemone

Hello,
I am trying to get a feel for what sized tanks people are successfully keeping carpet anemomes in. I am setting up a 125 this weekend, and will probably add an anemone late next year.
Is a 125 too small for a Haddoni? I had been looking at St Gigantea because I was concerned a Haddoni would get to big, but it seems like there are a few people here successfully keeping a Haddoni in a smaller aquarium.

Thanks for your time!
Matt

I have had one in a 20 gal tank for over 5 years. I gets a little food everyday and a piece of shrimp or something about once a month. At this feeding rate it holds its size at about 10-12" across. If I target fed more often, he would probably get bigger.

I think your 125 will be fine. ;)

For your consideration:
The difficulty level of a gigantea is about 10 times that of a haddoni.

Really can't add much to phil's post.

But, I will add that I've had one haddoni for about 7 years now, I am feeding in a similar manner, it is holding its size.

I have another one in my tank too (( 75 gallon )) when I first got it, about 8 months ago, I fed it about once a week. It has more then doubled in size. Since then I had cut back and it is holding its size.

i have on in a 50, loads of room, and its 18 inches across.

I agree, Mine is only a few weeks old but is doing great in my 75G. He is about 14" when fully expanded...

Unless you are having a very loooooong 125 with little width I think you will be just fine with a 125 gallon. I admire that you are waiting roughly a year to put it in. Most people can't wait six months. :)
