Need to improve filtration of the debris from the bottom of 6g tank, fed very heavily (mechanical removal of uneaten particles of the dried Cyclop-eeze).
Tried 200 gph AC HOB power filter - debris are settling on the bottom after basting, instead of being picked by filter.
Toying with idea of drilling bottom of the 5-6g acrylic hexagon for draining through the bottom into the sump with micron filter sock, and adding the clean return water from the top.
Such system was mentioned here, but without any notions, what will prevent the water from draining out totally.
Any thoughts, links or other solutions?
