Tank Tour Anyone?

No, I have not set it up yet. With the rate of electricity so high, I will wait awhile or probably sell it.

For you "high energy users" The county of San Juaquin just sent a proposition to PG and E to buy rights to all the Valley's Electricity facilities.

Something like 5 billion dollars.

Of course PG and E said no but.

The whole reason for it is the way a company gains rights to service a community with what are considered essential municipal needs (Garbage, Water, ect) is by bid.

What the local Government is doing is forcing PG and E into a ballot proposition.

Which will put the vote in our hands who controls the Electricity service too us.

The Local Government estimates they can immediately give us 15% or more break on our current bill and possibly up to 50% in the near future.

Of course PG and E says the opposite will happen.

Just some current news to keep an eye on.

If we can get a sitter she would love to see the potential in what our Reef could be someday and of course get to know the club members a bit more.

To All:

Unfortunately I do not know where our Event Coordinator is, and therefore do not know the status of the tank tour arrangement. I have decided to organize this event myself. This will be the final time I cover for a BOD member. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this causes but I felt it that it was better to make a late decision that let this event fail.

I believe that I have sent PM's to everyone who volunteered to put their tank on the tour. Please make sure to send me your address and I will get back to you as soon as I can with a game plan.

Thanks for the support Lim. Actually I have been working with 2 of our other members who graciously volunteered to help out. We will get the details posted/emailed out very soon.

Ok - we have the plan together. I'm going to post a summarized version here. The full details with addresses, driving directions, etc.. will be emailed to everyone. We were not able to include all 8 tanks due to time constraints. For those who were left out we will make sure to include you next time if you're still up to it. This is a full day event, anyone can join/leave at any time.
