Tank Transfer in progress question

Forgive me if this has already been asked but SO MUCH literature:eek1:

I was able to catch the majority of my fish and am on day 5 of TT.
Finally caught my last 3 today after basically dismantling 300lb of rock work!

Question being, should I start a separate TT for these 3 guys or can I add them to the already in progress TT and just add a cycle or two?
I planned on doing TT for the entire fallow period (70+ days)
then move the TT fish to a QT and use PP for 2 weeks (2 weeks additional to fallow DT).

TIA

The fish added last to the mix must go through a complete tank transfer sequence. However, if you choose to do a separate process for those fish added, that will work fine.

You can do it either way. If you think think it will work out aggression/bio-load wise, you can just add them to what you've already got going on in progress. And just start TT over from scratch. You do realize 72 days of TT breaks down to 24 transfers total, every 3 days? That's a lot of work, salt and moving fish around.

Thought (what I've read) you do the transfer on the 4th morning (18 xfers), but yes still a lot?
After what I went through getting those last 3 out I NEVER WANT TO HAVE ANOTHER ISSUE AGAIN :)
I always "managed" ich, and well, this time it bit me (13yrs later)!!!!!!

This guy (below) lays out TT perfectly:

Day 1 - fish in QT.
Day 4 - in AM, but before tank lights come on (8-9 AM EST), transfer fish to new tank, matching temp and salinity. Transfer as little water as possible.
Day 7 - repeat.
Day 10 - repeat.
Day 13 - repeat and done.

So you would want to follow his formula, except in your case just keep going with it after Day 13. Or you can stop after all fish have gotten a total of 5 transfers. If you add new fish to the ones you've already been transferring, you must start over from scratch.

Me bad, gotcha.
Exactly what I have written down on my TT daily check sheet, must of flaked while browsing though the Lounge!!

you say that like it's a bad thing! <a href="http://s6.photobucket.com/user/Ninapearl/media/smilies/roflmao.gif.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y203/Ninapearl/smilies/roflmao.gif" border="0" alt=" photo roflmao.gif"/></a>

Agh, the Lounge............where the brain goes to laugh :)
Especially if your a VP of a bank, trying to save the Lionfish and storing RODI outside on a hardwood floor (yes, used as exterior decking) in a climate that freezes.

Even in the Fish Disease forum, the Lounge pokes it BIG head. LOL

1 other question :)

After setting up my 2nd TT group of fish I realized I do not have enough spare heaters and air stones (yes I know cheap enough just go buy some, but have not).
On the day of TT I put both stones, bot airlines and both heaters in a pretty strong mixture of hot water and bleach for about an hour. Take out and rinse and scrub and rinse again.

Am I asking for disaster or are my cleaning methods satisfactory for no cross contamination?

Just do 20/1 water/bleach mild soak inbetween transfer days. Bleach is some strong crap. Doesn't take much. I'm gonna let mine soak with regular cold water for 3-4 hours or so. Rinse and let it completely dry. Then I'll be ready for the next transfer.

I wouldn't use air stones. They could potentially harbor something.

Use a powerhead or HOB aquaclear power filter.
