Tank Transfer Question

I'm using the TT method on four new fish in quarantine. I completed the second transfer on Friday morning before leaving town. I was planning to do the third on Monday but we've extended our trip by a day and will now be returning on Tuesday evening. Does this extra day and a half before making the third transfer affect anything? Seems like it wouldn't but I thought I'd check.

I would add another transfer on the end to be sure. The more time past the 72 hours the greater chance of failure. Let some others chime in and see if they agree. Hope it goes well.

If it were me, I would reset the clock to zero. More than 72 hours have passed since the last transfer, so there is a risk of reinfection. Better to assume the worst and take care of it while the fish are in QT, than have to pull them out of the DT later.
