tankmates for clownfish.

Aloha,

I currently have a 40g bowfront with 3 clownfish(theres a OC on the deportation list) . Now, my question is would Green Mandarin gobies by good tank mates for clownfish? I would like to add two to my display. or maybe two blue neon gobies?

I doubt your tank will ever be able to produce enough pods to keep a Mandarin, for the neon golbies only keep one unless you can find a mated pair.

I would get a Lawnmower Blenny good tank mate and cleaning crew! Mandarin's are a little hard to keep.

^agree. The tank will produce enough pods. There are lots of other fish that are much easier to maintain.

Agree, and would also rethink 3 clowns in that tank, I'd keep to a pair.

thank you all for the quick response I'll be sure to KO the Mandarin idea. Is there any where that sells mated pair of neon gobies ?
