Tanks for sale, lost everything

Lost almost all my corals during the ice storms this week and subsequent power outage. I have two tanks that are for sale, pictured below taken this morning. These tanks are as is (i.e..dirty). I will drain them of course.

70 gallon Oceanic "high" , Reef Ready with black pine stand. tank is 36Lx18wx24h. Paid $450 new 3 years ago, asking $125.

40 gallon acrylic tank and stand custom built by AquaCrylic - 24x24x16.5. Has overflow built in to false back wall. 3 years old also. Paid $550 new, asking $125. Tank has some scratches from normal use and buyer may need to buff out if it bothers them. Both of these have been used as frag/prop tanks.

Not selling any other equipment or rock at this time. Please PM if interested. I will probably need a few days to empty them out and find room to put the rock, etc.

Here's the acrylic tank when it was new, to give you a better view.

Damn, I'm really sorry. Not in the market for a new tank myself, but condolences. Did you have other tanks that survived, and just not enough power to keep these going?

Sorry to hear about that, but ive been looking for a pump for a my skimmer. I just figured id ask if you have a return pump or something else you will be getting rid of.

Damn sorry to hear that man.

Hang in there, doesnt look like everything is completely dead, maybe some of them will bounce back. I've had a couple come back that looked pretty far gone...

Wish you the best of luck.

I'm really sorry to hear about this Tony, if you need any help with anything let me know. Your welcome to frags of anything I have once you're up & running again.

I've got some extra space if you want to try to save anything.

Thanks, everyone for the kind thoughts. This has been a real bummer for me as you can imagine, and the pm's and emails have definitely helped (not as much as the Crown Royal, though:D ) Most of the remaining SPS died overnight last night. I also thought I might be able to save some, but the temp shock must have been too much. It looks like only 5 or 6 frags / colonies of SPS are still alive for now. Ironically, many of the "hard to keep" LPS corals are still alive, like my elegance and gonioporas. Also, most of my Aussie Acans are still with me for now.

Anyhow, except for the two tanks, I will be keeping all of my equipment. If I get rid of that, I know for sure I won't start back up again, and as bad as I feel right now, I'm not ready to give it up just yet.

Thanks,

Tony

I am really sorry to hear. That totally sucks. Not to hijack your thread...If you don't mind my asking, how low did your temps get?

Thanks, everyone for the kind words. Right now, just the smell alone in my house is making it hard to think of rebuilding. We also got some water in the basement from the sump pump not running, so I am dealing with that as well right now. Hopefully, starting over again will sound better in a few weeks.

Serpentman- Water temps got as low as 58.1F. House temp went down to around 40F.

Devilboy- Give me a few months, ya never know!!

Ed- Got your number programmed on my cell already for next time! Thanks for the offer!!

I'm interested in the acrylic tank and stand if they are still available. Sent you a pm but your box was full.

PM box emptied. Sorry bout that.

Both tanks still available, had some inquiries, but no offers yet. Jefft321 has first dibs on the acrylic and chicken cannoneer on the 70 as they contacted me first. I'll give them time to reply to my PM's.

Thanks again to everyone for the good wishes.

Found this in the CORA forum...idk if it's true, but maybe?
