Sunnyvale, they had a display in the center with $1/gal sign, and definitely a 40 there. Also one in their tank rack.

If you walk into a petco, bring the flyer, or look near the cash registers for the flyer.

I was told that they might have gotten another small shipment yesterday.. Can anyone confirm this? The 40br in elcerrito was on sale.. I asked the sales person there and she said that the bowfronts were not on sale but the aga corner tank was... I didn't buy one so I don't know how true it was... I was tempted though with the 54g corner tank....

I called the Petco in Redwood City and Mountain View and they said they had a new shipment in today. Don't know about the rest. As for the 37 cube tank, I don't believe a lot of the petcos carry them.

They are breeder tanks because they are shallow, apparently!
The 30 is 12 inches tall, the 40 is 16 inches and the 50 is 18. THe 50 is a really nice size.
Not being a fish breeder, I'm not sure the advantage of the shallow tank is.
I had a 40 breeder, then I built a nice canopy for it...then broke the tank
so I bought an Oceanic 58, because it (and the AGA 65) have the same footprint and there was no way I was going to let all that work go to waste! (I searched for another 40 breeder but couldn't find one, the original was bought off another reefer)

The 30 is 12 inches tall, the 40 is 16 inches and the 50 is 18. THe 50 is a really nice size.
Not being a fish breeder, I'm not sure the advantage of the shallow tank is.
I had a 40 breeder, then I built a nice canopy for it...then broke the tank

Dude, thats awesome - buy tanks from petco, its way cheaper than the LFS! Maybe then there will only be petcos, not LFS. Think about it.

what dimensions for the 50 breeder? That sounds like a nice height (18").

They're good for breeding due to the larger surface area for more o2 transfer and such.

Don't know about the cube (never saw one). The 54 corner would be a sweet tank... but again do I really fricking need another tank...
20L I saw at San Bruno (Tanforan, bought mine there), and saw a bunch on at the one on Bryant.. it's more of a common size than the cube apparently 30 x12 x 12 shallow as hell but damn nice length for stuff so if you stick a seio620 on it you're not going to cause a huge upwelling at the other side.sfsuphysics

Unless they were in some other location, they didn't. All I saw were the AGA tanks.
