Tanks that you can see from both sides

Just thought of something do you think that I'll need to reinforce the floor joists? It will be sitting on or really near the main support joist for the second (1st floor above the full basement).

mine is actually 3 sides viewable, here are some pics, its a room divider and aquascaped on all sides like your talking about. I'd hate to not be able to see all the sides of my tank, its a much better use of the space this way

one tank is a 180 the other a 75 and im just finishing up adding a 24 on the other side of the fireplace. all the tanks are conected to the same sump in the basement.

Nice, how many rubbermaid stock tanks do you have hooked up there I can see three? What return pump are you using? Do you have one per display tank? I want to do the sump in the basement, I think it would be easier. Is your tanks right above the sump area? In my case I would have to run the pipe from one end of the basement to the other to get close to a drain and water supply.

yes there are three. ive redone the plumbing some since that photo but its still set up pretty much the same. all the water from all the tanks go's into the 100gal tub with the skimmer in it on the left. then the water go's over to the tub on the far right. the 50gal tub up high in the middle is a frag tank that is feed from the main pump.

What return pump are you using? Do you have one per display tank?

all the tanks, and the frag tank and 2 reactors are run off of one pump. the pump is a Sequence hammerhead

Is your tanks right above the sump area?

from where the photo is taken, the 180 is right above my head and the 75 is just about above the skimmer
