Tanks with LEDs...

I cannot seem to get good pictures like you guys. My camera gets washed out with the light in the tank. I have a MarineLand Reef Ready LED fixture (18"-24") with two T5 blue wave bulbs for fill lighting. It makes for great shimmering effects and the middle of the tank is a very intense white about 10-12k look with the LEDs and the outside is a 20k blue from the T5s. Very good looking in person and low energy cost.

Here's a shot of the 15gallon, sorry for the quality. The lights had just come on so the corals aren't fully extended and the front glass is dirty lol:

Why not...DIY fixture on my 5'x2'x2' 156 gallon Oceanic. Running for 3 months, I love the results in reduced heat, reduced energy consumption, color flexibility, etc...

I like the even light distribution that you got by stagger stacking the leds on the Aluminum U Channel.
