Thanks, she really is incredible!CONGRATS ALEX!!
An incredible new wife, and tank, too!
Looks like all of your work so far is just superb. The aquascaping is great... subscribed!
Great start! I can't wait to see ya stock your tank! Good job on your build out thread!
Looks really great so far, very enjoyable build to watch
I wish I had those skills. That sump is awesome. I will agree with crvz though, you are making me look lazy with as much as you have done. Your plumbing is super nice as well, looks great and like it belongs there.![]()
Thanks!Looking Good Alex. The sump turned out great! I hate when the weldon leaves the stain like that but if it works and doesn't leak is what counts! I'd say the problem was the pins you used were to large for that allowing more solvent to enter between both acrylic pieces. When you pulled them out, the excess stains the surroundings like that. I like to use thin cooper wire or even better guitar stringsKeep it up
I hope you all know I am not trying to make anyone feel bad. I rushed to get to this point, and as such some things didn't turn out as good as they should have. I had to get the tank to this point before I left because I wanted my rock to be 100% cycled by the time I got back. This is because a very generous local reefer will have been keeping my corals and fish in their tank for almost two months already, and I want to get them into my tank as soon as I get back from my honeymoon.Looks great, Alex. But you're making me feel incredibly lazy. My project is no where near as far along.
Hahaha! I can honestly say I don't plan on having a kid for a minimum of another eight years! Grad school plus kids do not mix!Go have a kid or something.![]()
Thanks! Its good to see you back on RC. As I type this I am currently figuring out Eagle to go ahead and order some CAT4101 boards from Seeed. Time to get this LED party started!NICE build so far! Will be watching.
Thanks!SubscribedGreat looking tank and cannot wait to see more progress.
Thanks! Both acrylic and plumbing can be frustrating but I was by myself when I did those. It made some things dang near impossible.Very nice acrylic work and piping.
It sure was, good thing I am taking a well deserved break right now!man thats a lot of work. its looking good
Sorry for not replying earlier, I have been a bit busy. On Friday, June 25th I married my amazing fiance and since then we have just been lounging around in Seattle. Tomorrow we get on a plane heading to beautiful Bora Bora where I will definitely not be updating on RC. The good news is that I did bring my underwater camera enclosure (People from the 120 gallon thread should remember it) so once I get back and take some time to go through the pictures I will make sure to post for everyone here what the "most pristine reef in the world" looks like!
