some shrooms grow fater than others...meaning, the plain one grow like weeds and the hot lookin fancy ones take "forever"..!!!!! as for taking over...my take is a Nem/Mushroom "Garden"...I want them to take over :lol:

My red, purple, and hairy shrooms are covering just about everything in the tank and you won't hear any complaints from me. Whenever I get new corals I trim back the ones around the new coral and it works out just fine. the LFS love to get these these as well!

and u are correct....my understanding is that Tonga Mushrooms are apart of the Rhodactis family which is rather broad
