Tats 240

I'm thinking 3 luminarcs, 250w galaxy balasts. Not sure on bulbs yet. I don't have any experience with single end.

Got my Super Dart Gold so I can finally give Pallans Dart back to him. Ill use this as my return pump until I can buy a Snapper or another Dart. Then the Dart will be moved to the CL when I get an Oceans Motions.

I got this last week but it came with a manufacturing problem with the impeller so the seal leaked. Reeflo sent a new impeller and seal kit right away.

Thanks.

My list right now is pretty large. Ill need to narrow it down some before Im finished.

Small group of Chalk Basslets
Starry Blenny
Striped Blenny
A couple Bangai Cardinals
Pair of True Percs
Rainfords Goby
Hi Fin Goby
Orange Spot Goby
Yellow Tang
Orange Strip Bristletooth Tang
Sargassum Trigger
Blueface Angel
Lieutenant Tang
3-5 Pyramid Butterflies
Lemon Butterfly
Moorish Idol

I have quite a few more in my list but those are the ones Id prefer.

Not much room in that sump. Have you done a power out test? I am waiting for the day when I have the money to convert the garage into a bonus room. Then I will have me a 240 in-wall. Love the length of that tank.

Just enough room to squeeze the new skimmer in, if and when I buy it. Doesn't need to be any larger. Im actually kicking around the idea of trying an ATS instead of a skimmer.

Yeah it powers down just fine and the siphon on the bean overflow starts up about 15 seconds after the water starts going down the pipes.

I would love to have a fish room but we in an apartment. I don't think the neighbors would enjoy having me drill into their place. :p

Been quite a while since Ive updated so heres a quick rundown on the progress in the last month.

Got a Dart/Snapper hybrid that I am now using for my return pump and reactors.

Put an OM 4 way on my Super Dart Gold and moved that over to the CL.

Added screen tops after I lost a Sargassum Trigger (now replaced).

Built a box for my DJ strip.

Got all my rock put in. 100lbs of Pukani.

120lbs of Caribsea Select Grade.

Cheapo shop lights so I can see my fish. Will start building LEDs in a couple months.

Pay no attention to all the cyano. That should go away when I get real lights.

I also added a Zebra Eel, Sargassum Trigger, Yellow Tang and a Blonde Naso.

I will be picking up a 9 month old AquaC EV-400 driven by a Blueline 55 HD in a couple weeks from the same person I bought the OM and Dart hybrid.

Thanks guys. I still have a long fish wish list but it's a start. A couple more large fish and a bunch of smaller stuff.

The sargassum trigger has been my most wanted fish for about 10 years. It's great to finally be able to get one.

Have some new additions.

Orange Spotted Bristletooth Tang, Desjardini Sailfin Tang, Potters Angel, and a Lawnmower Blenny. I also have an unbelievably purple Coral Beauty in quarantine.

The orange Spotted is very small, about 1.75". Hes pretty beat up right now. He and the damsel has some things to work out when I introduced him a few days ago.

This is what he will look like when he matures. I waited 6 months for LiveAquaria to get this little guy in.

Heres a vid of the new guys. I just took them out of quarantine tonight. Theres been a bit of pushing and shoving between the Yellow and Desjardni so he running his pale fighting colors. Will get a more calm picture sometime later.

Heres the used ReefMania CR600 calcium reactor I picked up. Way over sized for my tank but it will look cool. :P

It wont be hooked up for quite a while since I don't have any corals yet.

This tank is officially dead. Noticed the silicone on the front left seam was only about 1/8" from the edge. It could have lasted 10 more years or 10 more minutes. Wasnt going to chance it in an apartment. It has been replaced by a 418.

The new build thread can be found here.
