TDS calibration solution

I need to calibrate my TDS meter to check my newly hooked up RO/DI output. The TDS tester is a Hanna TDS1, & the fluid it calibrates with is the 800ppm solution HI70080. Anyone know if there is a place to get stuff like this locally, or am I going to have to order it?

Use some distilled from a trusted source.

When you say a trusted source... would getting a jug from Krogers count?

The Kroger brand distilled I got showed 0 TDS.

I've got a couple bags of the solution. I bought some for spares, but I'd sell you a bag if you need it. I can probably meet you somewhere in Charleston this week, if that works for you.

not sure how accurate my tds meter is, but if I remember, Kroger distilled gave me about 032 and my RO is 002. Tap (070-074) All ppm.(mg/L)

Interesting. I got 0 on Distilled 1-2 on my RO-Di water and around 200 on tap water.

Sounds about right to me, you may be off a bit but close enough IMO.
