TDS Meter Sale

I wanted to know if you think this is a good sale or not? I paid almost $30.00 for mine several years ago and dropped it about 2 weeks ago and it doesn't work. I can order from a distributor and get them for 19.99 each plus shipping.

Are these at a good price??

That unit looks similar to mine and the price sounds reasonable to me. It's been to long for me to remember what I paid but it was more than that.

didnt we all get a group order last year and they were only like 10 dollars when we got them and ebay has them cheap also

Yep.. Been watching. Didn't order any... found one cheaper on Ebay. Hope it's accurate.

The first meters shown look similar to the ones I use at work now. I don't know about the specific model you are looking at, but the ones at work only have a resolution of 10ppm. I'm also the guy that put together the group buy last year (original thread here). I got them from a guy on eBay (original auction here). He does not seem to be selling them any longer though.

When we got them many people had trouble getting their meters to show a 0 reading. I think Mel got some solution to calibrate them and that was done at a later meeting (which I missed due to moving). Once I got established up here and upgraded my RO/DI unit with stuff from the Filter Guys, I had no problem getting 0 TDS out of my meter.

I guess my point is that you might want to check the resolution of any meter that you consider and there are good deals to be had out there, if you have the patience.
