What kind of handheld TDS meter does everyone use? What are some of the options out there? Why did you select that brand over the others? What are the plus/minus features that the unit used has? And lastly where did you purchase meter from?

I bought one off ebay... Hanna TDS1.... $21 shipped.

hanna works great. only bad thing is if you forget to turn it off there is no auto off

I'd say do the Hanna one off of ebay- its cheap and works like a charm!
